Job Description
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented administration officer to join our Townsville team on a casual basis, with a genuine pathway to permanency for the right candidate.
n
You will provide essential administrative support across our operations — working closely with leadership, support workers, and coordinators to ensure documentation, scheduling, and systems are accurate, compliant, and up to date.
n
This role requires someone who is self-motivated and confident working autonomously, while also being a genuine team player who contributes positively to the broader team. You will also be expected to participate in an on-call roster as part of this role, supporting our commitment to around-the-clock participant care.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Provide day-to-day administrative support in accordance with NDIS practice standards.
n
Manage, maintain, and organise participant and staff documentation, correspondence, and records.
n
Support scheduling operations, including coordinating staff rosters and participant appointments.
n
Assist with document control, filing systems, and compliance record-keeping.
n
Prepare correspondence, reports, and other documentation as directed.
n
Manage incoming communications, including phone calls and emails.
n
Support onboarding administration for new staff
n
Participate in the on-call roster to support after-hours operational needs.
n
Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative processes.
n
Demonstrated experience in an administrative or office support role
n
Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and manage your own workload effectively
n
A collaborative team player who actively supports colleagues and contributes to a positive workplace culture
n
Willingness and availability to participate in an on-call roster
n
Proficiency in Xero or a similar platform (or willingness to learn)
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
High attention to detail and robust organisational skills
n
Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
n
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
n
Experience in NDIS, disability services, aged care, or healthcare
n
Familiarity with NDIS documentation and compliance obligations
n
Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent
n
