Operating within a modern production environment, they specialise in the manufacture and assembly of heavy industrial products and are seeking an experienced Boilermaker/Fabricator to join their growing team in the Greater Ballarat Region.

About the Role
n
This is a hands-on workshop-based role responsible for the fabrication, assembly and repair of steel and aluminium components. Working within an experienced production team, you will contribute to the manufacture of high-quality products while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to specification. The role offers variety across fabrication, welding, assembly and quality-focused manufacturing activities in a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Fabricate, weld and assemble components and assemblies.
n
Interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
n
Manufacture and repair steel and aluminium structures.
n
Perform MIG welding and general fabrication activities.
n
Cut, shape, roll and prepare metal materials.
n
Assemble components through welding and fastening techniques.
n
Operate workshop equipment, power tools and fabrication machinery.
n
Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship.
n




Complete quality inspections and production documentation.
n
Support continuous improvement initiatives.
n
Assist with maintaining a safe and organised workshop environment.
n
Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets.
n

About You
n
n
Trade Qualification as a Boilermaker/Fabricator.
n
Previous fabrication and welding experience within a manufacturing or workshop environment.
n
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
n
Experience working with steel and/or aluminium.
n
Relevant welding certifications highly regarded.
n
Strong commitment to safety and quality.
n
Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
n
Good communication and time management skills.
n
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
