BTP is seeking a skilled and motivatedSpray Painterto join our Hazelmere Workshop in permanent fulltime capacity. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of mining equipment components and machinery while being part of a team committed to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Working in a busy workshop environment, you will play a key role in preparing, painting and finishing parts and equipment to company and customer specifications, ensuring every job is completed to the highest standard.

What You'll Be Doing
n
As part of our Hazelmere Workshop team, you will:
n
n
Prepare, paint and finish mining equipment components and machinery
n
Apply coatings to company and customer specifications
n
Work safely and efficiently to meet project deadlines
n
Maintain and care for spray-painting equipment and tools
n
Complete quality checks and ensure a high standard of workmanship
n
Assist with mentoring and coaching apprentices
n
Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
n
Complete required documentation and reporting accurately
n
Contribute to a positive team culture and safety-first environment
n
n
About You
n
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong attention to detail and enjoys being part of a high-performing workshop team.
n
To be successful, you will have:
n
n
Previous experience as a Spray Painter in an industrial, mining,



heavy equipment or related workplace
n
Strong commitment to workplace safety
n
Forklift Licence (essential)
n
Rigging Licence (essential)
n
Current Australian Driver's Licence
n
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
n
Strong communication and teamwork skills
n
High attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
n
n
The following will be highly regarded:
n
n
Experience working on mining or heavy earthmoving equipment
n
n
