The business specialises across three key areas: Solar Security - innovative security solutions for remote and off-grid environments including construction, agriculture and other locations without reliable power.
Fixed Security Solutions - CCTV and electronic security solutions across residential, commercial and retail environments.
Guarding Alarm Response - security personnel and alarm response services.

The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced Senior Technician or Technical Supervisor who is ready to take the next step into leadership.
Based from the company's office in south-east of Melbourne, you will lead a team of technicians responsible for building, configuring, testing, maintaining and deploying the company's solar-powered security systems.

Your responsibilities will include: Lead and manage a team of production and installation technicians.
Plan and allocate daily production, installation, removal and maintenance activities.

Diagnose faults and troubleshoot technical issues across security systems.
Configure cameras, routers, antennas,
SIM cards and connectivity solutions.
Ensure completed systems are tested, clean, functional and ready for deployment.
Manage local stock levels, procurement, suppliers and job costing.
Provide technical support to the team and occasionally attend site when an extra pair of hands or technical expertise is required.
The Technology The role involves assembling and configuring CCTV systems for solar-powered security setups and pole-mounted solutions.
You'll work across cameras, routers, SIM cards and system configuration, testing and preparing each system to meet specific client requirements.
You'll oversee the technicians and the process from the initial arrival of equipment through to configuration, testing, commissioning and final deployment.
What We're Looking For This role is ideally suited to an experienced security professional with a strong technical background who has progressed from a technician role into leadership, with a focus on quality, safety and team performance.
You'll also be responsible for managing stock and material supplies, coordinating resources and organising the technicians' day-to-day schedules.
You'll ideally bring: Solid IP CCTV, networking and cabling experience.
Previous experience leading, supervising or mentoring technicians.
Solid organisational and planning skills.
A practical understanding of quality control and safe work practices.
The ability to train and develop junior technicians.
