We currently have an opportunity available for a capable and experienced labourerfor work with aroad works team basedat Albion Park Rail.
n
This role will involve working full time hours of work (8.5 hours/day - 76 hour/9 day fortnight) for an period of approximately 4 months initially until end of December with genuine potential to continue beyond this time. A start of workASAP is required. An attractive hourly pay rate is being offered, including overtime penalty rates for additional hours of work.
n
Duties will include general labouring tasks for routine roads maintenance tasks such as road pavement repairs/pothole patching, installing and repairing guard rails, barrier fencing and signage, traffic control, installing guide posts, rubbish collection and clearing/maintaining roadside vegetation.

Successful Applicants will need to be;
n
n




current WHS White Card
n
current unrestricted driver licence - with MR licence or above a distinct advantage but not essential
n
traffic control tickets - essential (IMP and TCR)
n
Worker On Foot card - or willingness to obtain (online link able to be provided for successful applicant to be completed as part of on-boarding process)
n
valuable all round fitness for manual work tasks
n
previous experience with road construction, road maintenance or civil construction labouring would be an advantage
n
n
NOTE: successful applicants will be required to complete a police check as part of the employment on-boarding process.
n
Applicantswill need to be fit for physically demanding work, and be a genuine team player.
