The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
Installation of vinyl flooring and other resilient floor coverings in residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
Skilled in measuring floor areas, interpreting plans and specifications, and accurately cutting flooring materials to fit unique room layouts and project requirements.
Experienced in preparing surfaces, laying and securing vinyl flooring using adhesives, tapes, trims, and other fixing methods appropriate to the setting and expected traffic conditions.
Proficient in fitting edge trims, finishing doorways, and ensuring a high-quality, professional finish.
Capable of moving and protecting furniture during installation, maintaining clear communication with clients regarding project schedules and progress, and resolving installation issues efficiently.
Ensures work areas are thoroughly cleaned upon project completion, including removal of waste materials and returning furniture to its original position.
Maintains high standards of workmanship, customer service, workplace health and safety, and attention to detail throughout all flooring installation projects.
