They are currently seeking a motivated Engineering Traffic Officer to join their high-performing and dynamic Traffic Management Unit. This is an exciting opportunity offering hybrid working arrangements from their Sydney CBD office, with an immediate start through to 18 December ****.

The Job
n
Reporting through to a Manager, Traffic Engineering, you will be responsible for the following duties:
n
n
Respond to customer enquiries regarding traffic safety and parking changes.
n
Support efficient traffic flow, parking and road safety across the City's road network.
n
Analyse traffic data to identify issues and develop practical solutions.
n
Provide transparent advice to residents, businesses and internal stakeholders.

Prepare reports and provide technical support to the Local Traffic Committee.

You
n
To qualify for this opportunity, you must have experience in the following areas and possess the personal qualities below:
n
n
1-5 years' experience in a similar traffic engineering role.
n
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
n
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint to prepare plans, reports and approval documentation.
n
Strong knowledge of traffic engineering guidelines and standards, with experience developing plans, reports and recommendations.
n
Relevant experience resolving complex traffic and transport issues.
n
Strong analytical, communication and project management skills.
n
Current Class C Driver's Licence is desirable.
