Remuneration: $88,303 to $92,901 pa (HEW4) (inclusive of $74,617 to $78,502 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Laboratory Assistant - Engineering to join Faculty Operations, Faculty of Engineering.
The Laboratory Assistant - Engineering will work in collaboration with other technical staff to provide an integrated and highly responsive support service. The position will assist with purchasing, repairs and maintenance, logistics, preparation, clean-up, sourcing, data collation and warehousing. The position will require basic knowledge of mechanical components.

What You Need To Succeed
Completion of a certificate level qualification (Trade) with relevant experience in mechanical or civil engineering environments
Proven ability to effectively manage competing tasks within high demand workarea.
Proven ability to provide high-quality outcomes in a proactive, client centric approach.
Demonstrated experience in the use of correct manual handling techniques and/or physical aids as well as a current C class driver's licence
Ability to actively participate in, and contribute to, the development of an outstanding team culture, prioritising our people and the environment.
Demonstrated ability to connect and collaborate with a range of diverse groups (including those whose first language is other than English).
