Sales Consultant — Flooring, Blinds & Curtains (Full Time, Immediate Start)
Nelson Bay Carpet Court is a locally owned and operated flooring, blinds and curtains business based in Taylors Beach, serving Port Stephens and the surrounding Hunter region. We're part of the Carpet Court network — one of Australia's largest flooring retail groups — which means we've got the buying power and product range of a national brand with the service and team culture of a local family business.
The role
We're looking for a full-time Sales Consultant to join our showroom team. Day to day, you'll be:
Welcoming customers into the showroom and helping them choose carpet, timber, hybrid, vinyl, blinds and curtains
Measuring and quoting jobs, both in-store and at customers' homes
Following up on quotes and building relationships with repeat and referral customers
Placing orders, coordinating with installers and keeping jobs on track from quote to completion
Keeping the showroom and displays looking sharp
About you




You don't need flooring or window furnishing experience — we'll teach you the product, the measuring and the quoting. What matters is:
You enjoy dealing with people and can build trust quickly
You're organised and can juggle a few jobs at once without dropping the ball
You're reliable, presentable and take pride in doing things properly
You have a current driver's licence
Any retail, trade, hospitality or customer service background is a plus
What we offer
