Job Description
Swan Bay Market is looking for a reliable, positive and hands-on Store Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of our busy greengrocer and café. This is a hands-on role where you'll work on the floor alongside the team, serving customers, making coffee, stocking shelves and receiving deliveries, as well as managing the operation. This isn't an office-based management position.

Key responsibilities

Lead and support the retail and café team
n
Maintain high standards of customer service
n
Work on the floor serving customers, making coffee and stocking shelves
n
Manage ordering, stock levels, suppliers and deliveries
n
Maintain store presentation and merchandising
n
Manage day-to-day workflow and staff issues
n
Train and support team members
n
Identify opportunities to improve the business
n
Work closely with the owners to enhance day-to-day operations
n

About you

Management or supervisory experience in retail, hospitality, supermarkets, cafés or a similar customer-focused business
n
Reliable and punctual
n
Friendly, positive and approachable
n
Passionate about great customer service
n
Comfortable leading a small team
n
Organised and able to take ownership
n
Hands-on and willing to help wherever needed
n
Comfortable making coffee, or willing to learn
n
Happy working closely with hands-on owners
