ABOUT THE ROLE
n
As a Service Technician, your main responsibilities will include:
n
n
Installing, servicing, troubleshooting, diagnosing and efficiently repairing pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical faults related to compressed air and nitrogen plant equipment in the field.
n
Handling the installation, service and repair of gas generation and air filtration systems, ensuring adherence to technical requirements and specifications.
n
Conducting commissioning and testing activities in compliance with internal and third-party specifications, including legislative requirements, standards and industry codes.
n
Identifying capital equipment sales opportunities and providing timely quotes to customers.
n
Being available for occasional overtime, including Saturdays, and regional travel as required.

ABOUT YOU




n
To thrive in this role, you will need:
n
n
Proven experience in a field service role within a technical environment, ideally in the air compressor or HVAC industry.
n
A technical background in mechanical or engineering fields.
n
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships and build rapport effectively.
n
The ability to work well under pressure, both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
n
A customer-focused approach with an innovative, forward-thinking and positive attitude.
n
Strong organisational skills, flexibility and effective problem-solving abilities.
n
A current Queensland Driver Licence.
n
A minimum of one to two years' field service experience in a technical setting.
n
Australian work authorisation is required for this position.
n
Availability for an immediate start is highly regarded.
