Job Description
n
This varied role will suit someone who enjoys working with customers, has an interest in sales, and is happy to support the day-to-day operations of a busy branch.
n
You will work closely with our customers and branch team to provide exceptional service, while also supporting our warehouse and delivery functions.
n
A typical day will involve:
n
n
Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service to a wide range of electrical trades and commercial customers
n
Assisting customers in the showroom, over the phone and via email
n
Responding to customer enquiries, preparing quotes and processing sales orders
n
Building strong customer relationships and identifying opportunities to recommend suitable products and solutions
n
Supporting the sales team with product availability, pricing, order updates and follow-up
n
Processing and dispatching customer orders accurately and efficiently
n
Receiving, checking and booking in incoming stock and purchase orders
n
Picking and packing customer orders
n
Loading and unloading deliveries safely
n
Maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting stocktakes
n
Keeping the showroom, warehouse and surrounding areas clean, safe and well organised
n
Completing deliveries in a safe and courteous manner while complying with all road rules
n
Contributing to our strong safety culture and following all workplace health and safety procedures
n
n
Qualifications
n




You may have previous experience in a customer service, internal sales, retail, trade counter, warehousing or storeperson role. Experience in electrical wholesale, hardware, building supplies or a related industry would be advantageous, but it is not essential.
n
Most importantly, you will be:

Interested in developing your sales and product knowledge

Organised, reliable and able to manage competing priorities

A team player who is willing to support both the sales and warehouse functions
n
Customer-focused, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional service

Ambitious and motivated to learn and build a career with us

Physically capable of undertaking general warehouse duties
n
Safety-conscious and committed to following safe work practice
n

You will also need:

A current driver's licence and a clean driving record
n
A current forklift licence, or a willingness to obtain one — desirable
n
