JJ Care Services is looking for experienced, compassionate, and proactive people to join our growing team. We have opportunities supporting residents atDianne House, our specialist residential service in Gymea Bay, as well as clients living intheir own homes across the community.

About the Opportunities
n
Opportunities are available across:
n
Dianne House in Gymea Bay– our specialist residential home supporting people with younger onset dementia, complex medical needs and disability, with nursing care available around the clock. This roster involves a mandatory rotating roster covering morning, afternoon and overnight shifts and mandatory rotation between all shift times.
n
Home and Community Care– providing individualised support to clients in their own homes and communities across the Sutherland Shire, St George, Eastern Suburbs and surrounding areas.
n
You may express an interest in one area or both.
n
Your Role May Include
n
Reading and understanding client plans to provide best practice support
n
Supporting clients with personal care, continence care, bowel care and hygiene.
n
Assisting with mobility, transfers and manual handling.
n
Assisting with household tasks, cleaning, preparing meals and other domestic assistance
n
Supporting medication administration




n
Supporting community access, appointments, social activities and meaningful engagement.
n
Recognising and responding appropriately to changes in a client's health, behaviour or wellbeing.
n
Maintaining accurate progress notes, incident records and other required documentation.
n
Communicating professionally with clients, families, colleagues and the clinical team.
n
Working collaboratively to maintain a protected, welcoming and respectful environment.
n
About You
n
We are looking for people who are:
n
Warm, respectful and genuinely interested in the people they support.
n
Confident providing personal care and practical, hands‐on daily living support.
n
Willingness to support clients with full personal care, cooking, and cleaning
n
Comfortable driving a 10‐seater van
n
Calm and adaptable when supporting people with complex health needs, dementia, or behaviours of concern.
n
Proactive and able to identify opportunities for engagement, independence, and enjoyment.
n
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
n
Clear and confident communicators with strong written documentation skills and outstanding English
n
Able to use mobile technology and electronic care systems.
n
Experience in disability support, aged care, dementia care, nursing, or complex community care will be highly regarded.

Nursing students or allied health students are highly encouraged to apply. Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses are strongly encouraged to apply, particularly those seeking flexible work while continuing to use their clinical knowledge and hands‐on care skills. Current AHPRA registration will be required for nursing positions.

Successful applicants will require:
n
A current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
n
Current First Aid and CPR certification.
n
Full Australian working rights - student visas and restrictions on working hours are not suitable
n
A reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle.
n
At least 20 hours availability per week across at least four days per week
n
Relevant experience and/or qualifications in disability, individual support, aged care, nursing or a related field.
n
Current AHPRA registration if applying as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse.
n
The ability to meet the physical and practical requirements of the role.
n
Additional checks or training may be required depending on the clients and services you support.
