The Role:
Our
News Travels store
offers a range of newspapers, magazines, latest release books, travel essentials and snacks for your trip. From the iconic brands of LEGO, JBL and Apple to an area dedicated to a wide range of gifts, apparel, souvenirs and locally sourced produce, stop into
News Travels
before your flight.
We're looking for
Casual Retail Assistants
to join our team at
Newcastle Airport
. If you love customer service, fast-paced environments, and making shopping fun, this is your chance to shine!
Good availability between 4:45AM to 9:30PM with either morning or night shifts on offer (Week days and weekends)
Flexibility across the 7 days desirable
Physically fit, some lifting required!
What You'll Do:
Deliver outstanding customer service & expert product recommendations
Stay ahead of trends with ongoing qualified training
Keep the store looking vibrant & well-stocked
Process transactions smoothly & efficiently
Assist customers with queries in a friendly, skilled manner
What We're Looking For:
Passion for customer service & sales
Valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) Certificate
Confident communicator with a positive attitude




Well-groomed & professionally presented
Some retail/hospitality experience
Flexible availability (early mornings, nights, weekends & holidays)
Valid working rights & ability to obtain an Aviation Security ID Card
