Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
to join the established Obstetrics & Gynaecology service at Central Gippsland Health in Sale, Victoria.
The Opportunity
The successful Consultant will provide specialist Obstetrics & Gynaecology services across inpatient, outpatient, theatre, birth suite and emergency settings.
Working alongside experienced medical, nursing and allied health teams, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred women's healthcare throughout the Gippsland region.
The Role Offers Opportunities To
Provide specialist Obstetric and Gynaecological care
Manage antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal patients
Participate in birth suite and theatre services
Assess and manage emergency O&G; presentations
Provide elective and emergency gynaecological care
Supervise and support Registrars and junior medical staff
Participate in multidisciplinary case management
Contribute to teaching and clinical education
Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement
Contribute to the ongoing development of the O&G; service

Who We're Looking For
FRANZCOG or an equivalent recognised specialist qualification
Specialist Registration with AHPRA, or eligibility to obtain Specialist Registration
Appropriate Consultant-level Obstetrics & Gynaecology experience
Solid clinical and communication skills
Commitment to patient-centred care
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Interest in teaching, supervision and professional development
International Medical Graduates
