Job Description
The Opportunity:
n
Techforce are seeking experienced excavator/ digger operators for ongoing production mining operations at Mount Carlton Mine in the Bowen Basin, QLD.
n Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be operating excavators in a hard rock mining environment. This is a great opportunity to secure long-term work on a well-established mine site, with modern facilities. Operators with hard rock experience are highly regarded, however coal operators may also be considered.

12-hour shifts

DIDO or BIBO from Townsville

Permeant Role
n
Work at a well-resourced site with new facilities and robust support systems
n

Experience Required
n
n
Minimum 2 years' production mining experience preferred
n
Experience operating diggers on a mine site- REQUIRED
n




Hard rock mining experience highly recommended
n
Valid Standard 11 (S11) and relevant site competencies
n
Clean NPC within the last 6 months
n
Strong safety focus and ability to work within a team environment
n
Coal operators may be considered
n
n
Additional Requirements

Must have a strong safety attitude and willingness to follow site procedures
n
Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
n
Must provide two recent, contactable references
n
Current valid driver's license
n
Must be available for immediate mobilization
n
