The position
n
This is a strategic sales role focused on developing and expanding opportunities across Queensland within the industrial and manufacturing sectors.
n
This role requires an experienced sales qualified with strong technical knowledge, project mapping capability, and the ability to influence specifications. You'll be a proactive operator who thrives on building multi-level relationships and closing complex solutions-based deals.
n
Duties include:
n
n
Build strong, long-term relationships with electrical contractors, EPCs, consultants, and end users.
n
Develop and implement a strategy for sales growth across key verticals, including renewables, commercial, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
n
Proactively identify and win new project opportunities in electrical, automation, control systems and related solutions.
n
Promote the company's industrial product suite, addressing customer needs and evolving project requirements.
n
Influence project specifications and collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide full product solutions.
n
Attend relevant conferences, meetings, and industry events.
n
Maintain accurate CRM records and deliver timely reporting.
n
n
Skills & experience required:
n
n
Electrical Trade Qualification or similar is preferred, but not essential.
n
Strong relationships across electrical contractors, EPCs, consultants, and project stakeholders are essential.
n
Solid understanding of electrical installation processes and project/tender life cycles.
n
Proven success in project mapping, tender identification, and specification selling.
n
Proficiency with CRM's and MS Office tools.
n
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
n
Highly organised with excellent time management and planning abilities.
n
n
