We are seeking an experienced Regional Manager – Retail Cleaning to lead the operational, commercial and people performance of a portfolio of retail and shopping centre cleaning sites. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery, strong client relationships, workforce performance, safety compliance and positive financial outcomes across the region. You will lead and support Cleaning Supervisors and site-based teams while working closely with clients, centre management and internal stakeholders to deliver consistent, customer-focused service solutions.

Key responsibilities

Lead cleaning operations across an allocated regional portfolio.
n
Ensure services are delivered in accordance with contracts, specifications, rosters and procedures.
n
Conduct regular site visits, inspections and operational reviews.
n
Monitor cleaning standards, productivity, presentation and site performance.
n
Identify service gaps, operational risks and improvement opportunities.
n
Manage client relationships and act as the operational escalation point.
n
Attend client meetings, performance reviews and service discussions.
n
Lead, coach and develop Cleaning Supervisors and site teams.
n
Ensure appropriate staffing, attendance, workforce coverage and performance.
n
Support recruitment,



onboarding, training and workforce planning.

About you
n
n
Minimum 5 years experience in a cleaning or facilities management.
n
Demonstrated experience managing multiple sites, contracts and large workforces.
n
Strong people leadership skills, including performance, attendance and conduct management.
n
Experience managing budgets, labour costs, productivity and operational performance.
n
Strong client and stakeholder management capability.
n
Demonstrated knowledge of WHS, risk management, incident management and compliance.
n
Experience conducting audits, inspections and implementing corrective actions.
n
An understanding of contractual requirements, service standards and SLAs.
n
Strong problem-solving, negotiation, communication and decision-making skills.
n
A current driver's licence and the ability to travel between multiple sites.
