Join our small, close-knit team and play a key role in managing the day-to-day financial operations of our business. We are looking for a highly organised and experienced Accounts & Finance Administrator who is confident working independently and managing a broad range of accounting, bookkeeping and financial administration responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

Complete bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
n
Prepare monthly BAS and GST reports
n
Liaise with external tax accountants and assist with accounting requirements
n
Prepare monthly financial statements and financial reports for Directors
n
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and legislation
n
Manage the company's insurance policies, including Workers Compensation
n
Oversee general financial administration
n
Assist with audits and year-end financial requirements
n
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation
n
Use MYOB and Simpro for accounting,



job management and financial administration
n

About you
n
n
Has strong bookkeeping and accounting experience
n
Has excellent attention to detail and accuracy
n
Can manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
n
Is confident working independently and taking initiative
n
Has strong communication and organisational skills
n
Understands BAS, GST, payroll and general financial compliance
n
Is experienced with MYOB
n
Experience with Simpro is highly desirable
n
Has the ability to liaise professionally with external accountants, management and other stakeholders
n
A varied and hands-on role across accounts, payroll and financial administration
n
