Temptation Bakeries is a well-established Australian bakery manufacturer located at Kunda Park on the Sunshine Coast. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Manager to lead our production operations and team.

This is a hands‐on leadership position suited to an experienced manufacturing supervisor or production leader who is ready to take the next step in their career.

About the Role
n
As Production Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our production operations, ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently, on schedule and to the required quality standards.
n
You will lead the production team, manage resources, monitor performance and drive continuous improvement across the manufacturing operation.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Manage and coordinate daily production activities
n
Lead, supervise and develop the production team
n
Plan and coordinate production to meet customer requirements and production schedules
n
Monitor productivity, labour utilisation, waste and production efficiency
n
Ensure food safety, quality and GMP standards are maintained
n
Maintain a strong focus on workplace health and safety
n
Manage production staffing and labour requirements
n
Monitor equipment performance and minimise production downtime
n
Work closely with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse and Management
n
Identify production issues and implement effective solutions
n
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation
n
Ensure production records and documentation are completed accurately
n
Assist with new product introductions and production improvements
n
n
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
n
n
Minimum 5 years' experience supervising staff within a manufacturing environment
n
Demonstrated experience leading and managing a production team
n
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production requirements

Proven ability to manage staff performance and workplace issues
n
Strong organisational and planning skills
n
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
n
Ability to work in a fast‐paced production environment
n
Strong communication and leadership skills
n
Sound computer skills and the ability to complete production reports and documentation
n
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n

Highly Desirable
n
Experience in any of the following will be highly regarded:

Food manufacturing
n
Bakery manufacturing
n
FMCG
n
High‐volume production
n
Food safety and HACCP
n
GMP
n
Production planning and scheduling
n
Managing production equipment and maintenance requirements
n

n
You will be a practical, hands‐on leader who understands that successful manufacturing comes from having the right people, processes and systems in place.
n
You will be confident managing a team, setting expectations, addressing performance issues and ensuring production targets are achieved.
n
You will also be comfortable working on the factory floor, identifying problems and working with your team to find practical solutions.
