About the Role
The College is seeking to appoint a temporary part-time (0.7 FTE) Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE) Teacher for Term 4, ****. The PDHPE Department at Newington is highly regarded for its excellence in teaching and innovation and operates with first-class facilities. An ability and willingness to contribute to the pastoral care and co-curricular program will be required.

have appropriate teaching and tertiary qualifications relevant to the position
be a dynamic and successful classroom practitioner with experience in leading others in the development and implementation of rigorous learning and teaching programs
have a sound understanding of the learning needs of students
utilise technologies to enhance the learning and teaching
work effectively as a member of an enthusiastic team
show a genuine appreciation and commitment to pastoral care
participate in the College's co-curricular program
lead colleagues to achieve excellence in learning and teaching
actively contribute to the sporting co-curricular program across both seasons.
