The Role
n
As a Personal Care Worker you'll provide assistance to our residents, ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their wellbeing, independence, interests and choices.
n
The key focus of the role will be to:
n
n
To provide high quality, safe, and timely contemporary personal care; assisting with the functions of daily living according to the individual needs of residents.
n
Support and care for residents as they age and assisting them to maintain the independence and live with dignity, self-determination and comfort.
n
Assist the resident with self-care needs, safe mobility and transfers, and complete documentation.
n

Ensuring an effective and consumer focused care and service delivery for all residents.

To be successful, you will have
n
n
Certificate III in Individual Support & Ageing (or equivalent)
n
Experience in Aged Care highly regarded
n
Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
n
Prior to commencement - complete a National Police Check and or a NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain)
n
n

About this location: The Ormsby, a 136-bed residential aged care facility located in the beautiful Buderim. The Ormsby is close to shops, banks, schools and medical services, while still being a part of the welcoming, friendly Buderim village and only 15 minutes from the Sunshine Coast.
