The Opportunity

UniSC is entering an exciting new chapter in how we deliver strategic outcomes across the University.
n
As the scale, complexity and importance of our initiatives continue to grow, the newly established Enterprise Portfolio and Delivery Office (EPDO) will play a central role in strengthening how strategic initiatives are prioritised, governed and delivered across the University. The Office provides a coordinated, university-wide approach to portfolio governance, delivery management, organisational change, assurance and benefits realisation, helping ensure our most important investments achieve their intended outcomes.

We are seeking an experienced and influential change professional to join this current capability as Manager, Organisational Change and Benefits Realisation.
n
Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Portfolio and Delivery, you will lead the development and continuous improvement of UniSC's organisational change and benefits realisation capability. Working across a diverse portfolio of strategic initiatives, you will strengthen how the University approaches change, adoption, business readiness and benefits realisation, ensuring investments translate into meaningful and sustainable outcomes.

Working closely with business leaders, project teams, sponsors and governance stakeholders, you will help embed consistent change and advantages practices across the University's strategic portfolio, providing visibility of organisational impacts, adoption risks and realised value. You will
n
n
lead and continuously enhance UniSC's organisational change and benefits realisation frameworks, ensuring a consistent approach across strategic initiatives;
n
partner with business owners, sponsors and delivery teams to support successful adoption, business readiness and sustained organisational outcomes;
n
embed change, adoption and benefits requirements into project delivery frameworks, governance eprocesses, assurance activities and business case development;
n
provide professional guidance, coaching and quality assurance to change practitioners working across the portfolio to promote consistency and maturity of practice;
n
develop an enterprise-wide view of change impacts and change saturation, providing insights that inform prioritisation, sequencing and delivery planning;
n
advise leaders and sponsors on business readiness, adoption risk, stakeholder engagement, change quality and benefits realisation; and
n
support the measurement of adoption, sustainment and realised benefits, using insights to strengthen portfolio performance and continuous improvement.

About the Enterprise Portfolio and Delivery Office
n
The Enterprise Portfolio and Delivery Office provides a University-wide capability for enterprise portfolio governance, intake and prioritisation, delivery confidence, change visibility and benefits realisation. The Office establishes a consistent enterprise framework for how organisational initiatives are assessed, prioritised, governed, assured, delivered, reported and transitioned into business operations.

Operating through a federated delivery model, the Office supports business areas to deliver strategic initiatives while providing the frameworks, standards, assurance and portfolio visibility needed to improve institutional outcomes and maximise organisational value.

About you
n
You are an experienced organisational change professional who understands that successful delivery is about more than implementing projects. You know how to help people adopt change, build organisational readiness and ensure intended benefits are realised over time.
n
You bring a track record of leading change and benefits initiatives within complex organisations and are comfortable navigating competing priorities, influencing senior stakeholders and translating strategy into practical, people-focused outcomes. You thrive in collaborative environments and are motivated by the prospect to establish new ways of working that support lasting organisational success.

You will possess:
n
n
Relevant qualifications and substantial experience in organisational change management and benefits realisation, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
n
Experience leading change management and benefits realisation activities across complex programs, portfolios or enterprise-wide initiatives, including framework development and continuous improvement.
n
Strong expertise in change impact assessment, stakeholder engagement, communications, business readiness, adoption, sustainment and benefits transition.
n
Experience embedding change and benefits practices within project delivery lifecycles, governance standards, assurance processes and post-implementation reviews.
n
Demonstrated ability to advise and influence senior stakeholders on change saturation, adoption risk, business readiness and benefits realisation.
n
Experience working within complex federated or matrix environments, including providing practice leadership, coaching and guidance to change resources.
n
Strong communication, facilitation, coaching, influencing and relationship management skills.
n
The ability to translate strategic intent into practical adoption and benefits realisation outcomes while working collaboratively across governance, delivery and business teams.
