About the Role
n
We're seeking an experienced Warehouse & Distribution Manager to lead operations at our Enfield DC.
n
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for both warehouse operations and transport coordination, managing a fast-paced environment with multiple internal and external stakeholders. You'll bring a proactive, solutions-focused approach to improving performance, strengthening systems, and leading a high-performing team.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Leading day-to-day warehouse and distribution operations, including inbound, outbound, inventory, and transport coordination
n
Managing relationships with external logistics and service providers
n
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, improving warehouse processes, and overall operational efficiency
n
Partnering with internal teams such as production, quality, sales and safety, to balance competing priorities and delivery expectations
n
Leading and developing the warehouse team, managing performance and employee relations while driving a strong safety and engagement culture
n
n
This role operates in a large-scale FMCG environment, requiring strong judgment, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

About You
n
You're an experienced leader who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment. You bring a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution,
with the confidence to work with stakeholders across all levels.
n
You will bring:
n
n
Robust stakeholder management skills, with experience navigating competing priorities across internal teams and external partners
n
Confidence in managing supplier relationships and having constructive, outcome-focused conversations
n
A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and implement practical solutions
n
Strong warehousing experience and knowledge with an understanding of inventory management, stock control, and traceability processes
n
Demonstrated people leadership capability in an industrial environment with high emotional intelligence, with the ability to manage performance, conflict, and team engagement
n
n
Experience in food manufacturing is advantageous, with an understanding of HACCP and quality standards preferred.
