About the Role
n
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join a busy meat processing and distribution facility based in Lidcombe. This is a permanent, full-time position, ideal for someone who places a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and teamwork.
n
You will play a key role in supporting yard and warehouse operations, ensuring efficient goods handling and maintaining a clean, well‐organised work setting.
n
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Operate a forklift to support efficient warehouse and yard operations
n
Receive goods in the yard area, including meat, dry goods, and chemicals
n
Stack and sort empty pallets
n




Group and manage different pallet types
n
Maintain accurate stock management for the dry goods area
n
Coordinate inbound deliveries and receivals within the yard
n
Ensure the yard is kept clean, organised, and safe at all times
n
Report incidents and hazards in line with site procedures
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
A current High-Risk Forklift Licence (mandatory)
n
Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or yard environment
n
Strong attention to detail, particularly when working to strict timelines
n
Excellent communication skills
n
A strong safety focus
n
A team-oriented attitude with a commitment to shared goals
