About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent engineering graduate to gain hands‐on experience in structural engineering while working closely with experienced professionals. You'll be involved in the full project lifecycle-from proposals through to design, delivery, and client interaction-with opportunities to work on diverse and technically rewarding projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare proposals and assist with new project enquiries
Manage project tasks from concept through to completion, ensuring milestones are met
Produce detailed designs, specifications and project documentation
Conduct site inspections across Australia
Engage with clients, providing support and promoting best practice
Prepare accurate, timely invoices and issue to clients
Contribute to improving internal processes, quality and efficiency
Uphold company processes, policies and values
Apply engineering principles to develop practical, economical solutions
Promote and implement technical and best practice standards
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical)
Demonstrated interest in engineering through internships or industry experience
Exposure to steel design, seismic design, fabrication, or FEA is an advantage
Experience with engineering software such as FEA tools, SpaceGass or Revit
Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations
Practical, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving
Strong willingness to learn, grow and take initiative
Ability to plan, prioritise and deliver work across multiple projects
Excellent attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office
