Van Driver needed for E-Mobility Company!

This role involves transporting a cargo bikes into the city using a company van to load, replace batteries, or perform basic maintenance as needed. The position combines driving with ensuring e-bikes are correctly positioned in line with council parking regulations, helping create a positive experience for both the community and riders.

This role will be focused on picking up bikes from one area and moving them to another.
n
Role: Field Ranger
n
Start Date: ASAP
n
Duration: Ongoing
n
Hours: 6 am - 2 pm OR 2 pm - 10 pm on a rotating roster. 3-4 days per week, flexibility required between the two shifts.
n
Pay Rates:
n
Weekday: $***** p/hr + super until 6pm then $***** onwards (until 6am)
n
Saturday: $***** p/hr + super
n
Sunday: $***** p/hr + super
n
Public Holiday: $***** p/hr + super
n
Responsibilities:
n
n
Assist with e-bike deployment and retrieval
n
Operate from one of our vans around Sydney to transport Cargo Bike into the CBD
n




Retrieving and swapping batteries at our satellite hub
n
Loading the bike with batteries from the van
n
Work with a team to operate a van to redistribute products as required
n
Use smart device applications to locate and operate devices
n
Respond to various tasks as they are assigned
n
Ability to work under minimal supervision
n
A team setting where safety and quality are a priority
n
Troubleshoot technical issues on site
n
Work with field rangers (on foot) to optimise efficiency
n

Requirements:
n
n
Over the age of 25 (for vehicle insurance purposes)
n
Experience driving a van in the city
n
Full, unrestricted Australian driver license with a clean record
n
Tech Savvy is preferred
n
Ability to be very active and bend and lift up to 30kg frequently
n
A great attitude and ability to work well with others, teamwork is a key to success!
n
Comfortable working alone
n
Previous delivery, mechanical, logistics, and inventory experience is a bonus
n
Knowledge of local area geography and street layout preferred but not required.
n
Comfortable with using an app to locate e-bikes
