About the Role:
n
We're looking for a trade-qualified Supervisor (Carpentry, Joinery or Cabinet Making) to lead a team at our modular manufacturing facility in Riverview, Ipswich. Reporting to the Factory Manager, you'll provide hands-on leadership, overseeing daily factory operations and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You'll coordinate multiple trades, manage production schedules, and lead a team of up to 15 employees and labour hire workers.

What You'll Be Doing
n

Leading day-to-day production activities to meet safety, quality and delivery targets
n
Supervising and supporting a team of tradespeople and production staff
n
Coordinating workflows across multiple trades to keep projects on trackMonitoring productivity, workmanship and factory performance
n
Supporting production planning and scheduling, including workflow management
n
Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
n
Maintaining production, quality and safety records
n
Driving a strong safety culture and leading by example
n




Coaching and developing team members
n
Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency
n

What You'll Bring
n
n
Trade qualification in Carpentry, Cabinet Making or Joinery is essential
n
Previous experience leading teams in manufacturing, construction, modular or building
n
Strong practical leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop others
n
A genuine commitment to safety and quality
n
Experience with production planning and scheduling, including Gantt charts is advantage
n
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents
n
Strong organisation and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
n
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
