Job Description
Our client is a well-established Project Management Consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the property and construction sector.
n
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join their Sydney team.
n
This is an opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of projects spanning the Commercial and Accommodation sectors, providing exposure across the full project lifecycle from early planning and design through to construction and completion.
n
The Role
n
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects on behalf of a range of clients, working closely with stakeholders, consultants, contractors and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
n
Key responsibilities will include:
n
n
Managing projects from inception through to completion and handover
n
Acting as the key point of contact for clients and project stakeholders
n
Managing project budgets, programmes, procurement and risk
n
Coordinating consultants and project teams throughout the design and delivery phases
n
Managing the tender and procurement process
n
Overseeing construction delivery and monitoring project performance
n
Providing regular reporting and updates to clients and senior stakeholders
n
Identifying and managing project risks, issues and opportunities
n
Ensuring projects are delivered in line with agreed time, cost,
quality and scope requirements
n
Building and maintaining robust relationships with clients, consultants and contractors
n
n
About You
n
We are looking for a Project Manager with strong project delivery experience who is comfortable operating in a client-facing environment.
n
Ideally, you will have:
n
n
5+ years' experience within the property, construction or project management sector
n
Experience delivering commercial, accommodation, residential, hospitality or similar projects
n
Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle
n
Experience working within a Project Management Consultancy or client-side environment
n
Strong stakeholder and client management skills
n
Excellent communication and organisational skills
n
The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
n
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project budgets and programmes
n
A relevant qualification in Construction, Property, Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline
n
