We're looking for an experienced
Manager, Workplace Relations & Compliance
to join our People team, supporting leaders across the business on complex employee and industrial relations matters. This is a great opportunity for an experienced ER/IR professional who enjoys partnering with leaders, managing complex workplace matters and influencing positive business outcomes in a dynamic, unionised environment.
About The Role
You'll provide expert advice and support across a broad range of employee relations matters while ensuring legislative compliance and best practice.
Key Responsibilities Include
Leading complex workplace investigations, including misconduct, grievances, bullying and policy breaches.
Providing trusted ER and IR advice to leaders on complex people matters.
Coaching leaders through performance, disciplinary and workplace issues.
Interpreting employment legislation, enterprise agreements, awards and policies.
Representing TGE in Fair Work Commission and other industrial matters where required.
Building strong relationships with People teams, leaders and employee representatives.
Contributing to continuous improvement across ER practices, governance and capability.
About You
Significant experience managing complex Employee and Industrial Relations matters.
Strong workplace investigation and case management capability.
Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, awards and enterprise agreements.
Experience working within a unionised workplace.
Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills.
A pragmatic, commercially focused approach with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the business.
