CBR Recruitment is seeking an experienced and motivated APS6 Case Manager to join a large Federal department within the HR Branch.
Through the provision of timely and expert advice, guidance and support, Case Managers play an important role in building a culture of effective performance management and respectful workplace behaviours across the department, consistent with departmental and APS frameworks. As a Case Manager, you will manage a diverse caseload encompassing employee performance and conduct related matters.
Key Responsibilities
Providing case management support in relation to employee performance and behaviour related matters, working closely with employees and managers to develop and implement strategies to address concerns.
Providing case management support for Code of Conduct matters, including the coordination and conduct of investigations, procurement, brief preparation and drafting in support of decision makers.




Managing complaints relating to inappropriate workplace behaviour in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
Contributing to the development, maintenance, review and update of the department's policies and procedures in relation to employee performance and behaviour.
Building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management.
Collaborating with colleagues to implement early intervention supports to safe, timely and durable return to work outcomes for employees.
What You Will Need
Experience managing complex employee relations, performance and conduct matters.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make evidence-based recommendations and exercise sound judgement.
Excellent written communication skills and the ability to produce clear, accurate and well-structured documentation.
