The Practice at Clem Jones Centre is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join the team on a casual basis. You will bring a solid focus on providing patient centred care and will be driven to achieve positive patient outcomes. As part of the clinical team, you will play a vital role in supporting the clinical operations of the practice while working alongside experienced and passionate medical professionals.

Key responsibilities

Chronic disease management
n
Vaccine administration and management, including cold chain
n
Health assessments
n
ECG and Spirometry
n
Procedures including iron infusions
n
Treatment room and stock control
n
Infection control
n
Triage – over the phone and in person
n
Assisting with accreditation
n
n
About you
n
n
Current registration with AHPRA
n
Hold a Registered Nurse qualification
n




Qualified nurse immuniser (desired but not required)
n
Commitment to ongoing training
n
Always maintain patient and staff confidentiality
n
Previous experience in General Practice
n
Knowledge of Best Practice Management Software
n

The Practice is located within the campus of Clem Jones Centre, Carina. The Practice at Clem Jones Centre provides integrated health care between GPs and co-located allied health professionals (including physiotherapy, exercise physiology, podiatry, dietitian, psychology) and other medical specialists (including psychiatry, cardiology and ophthalmology). This GP owned practice aims to provide high-quality patient care with a strong focus on health promotion and preventative health care.
