As part of this growth, INTEC has established a dedicated civil and electrical contracting division supporting the delivery of major renewable energy and infrastructure projects.

As this division continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join our Brisbane team and play a key role in building the people capability, systems and culture that will support the division's growth.
n
Working closely with the Managing Director of this division, operational leaders and the wider INTEC People & Culture team, you will provide hands-on, end-to-end HR partnering across corporate, technical, site-based and blue-collar workforces.

The Opportunity
n
This is more than a traditional HR Business Partner role. You will have the opportunity to help build the People & Culture function for a growing infrastructure business, working directly with senior leadership and wider INTEC People & Culture team, supporting the division as it scales its workforce across multiple projects.

You'll operate at the intersection of people and project delivery, helping leaders navigate employee relations, recruitment, workforce planning,



performance and compliance while developing practical HR systems and processes suited to a construction environment.

What You'll Do
n
n
Work closely with the Managing Director and operational leaders across employee relations, performance, workforce planning and people strategy.
n
End-to-end recruitment across corporate, technical, trade, labour and site-based roles, supporting project mobilisation and workforce growth.
n
Develop and implement practical HR policies, processes and systems suited to a growing construction and project-based workforce.
n
Provide guidance across employment compliance, Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements and employee relations matters, working with leaders to resolve issues effectively.
n
Use workforce data and market insights to identify people risks, resourcing requirements and opportunities for continuous improvement.
n

About You
n
You'll be an experienced HR professional who is comfortable working close to the operation, building relationships with leaders and providing pragmatic advice in a fast-moving environment.

You'll Bring
n
n
7+ years' generalist HR experience, with strong capability across recruitment, employee relations and performance management.
n




Experience supporting both white-collar and blue-collar workforces, ideally within construction, civil, infrastructure, engineering or EPC.
n
Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Modern Awards and the National Employment Standards.
n
Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to work directly with senior leaders, project teams and site-based supervisors.
n
A pragmatic, hands-on and commercially focused approach, with the ability to work autonomously and build structure in a growing business.
n
A current driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites across Queensland as required.
