We're looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team and help lead the restaurant day to day.
n
The Role
n
This is a hands‐on leadership position for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality and wants to be part of building something distinctive.
n
Working closely with the Restaurant Manager and Chef/Owner, you will help oversee the daily operation of the restaurant, lead the floor team and ensure every service runs smoothly.
n
You will be expected to lead from the front — not manage from behind a desk.
n
Key Responsibilities
n

Lead and support the floor team during service
n
Run smooth, organised and high‐quality restaurant services
n
Maintain ARRE's standards of hospitality, service and presentation
n
Brief the team before service and communicate clearly throughout service
n
Assist with staff training, development and performance
n
Manage reservations, table flow and guest experience
n
Handle guest enquiries and resolve issues professionally
n
Monitor service standards and ensure the team is attentive and engaged
n
Assist with opening and closing procedures
n
Manage cash handling and daily operational procedures
n
Maintain food, beverage and service knowledge across the team
n
Work closely with the kitchen to ensure effective communication between FOH and BOH
n
Assist with stock control, ordering and general restaurant organisation
n
Ensure health,



safety and licensing requirements are followed
n
Support the Restaurant Manager with rosters, staffing and day‐to‐day administration
n
Step into the Restaurant Manager role when required
n

What We're Looking For
n
We're looking for someone who:
n
n
. 1 year in hatted or Michelin venue
n
Has previous experience in a restaurant supervisory or management role
n
Is confident leading a team during busy service
n
Has excellent communication and organisational skills
n
Understands what outstanding hospitality looks like
n
Is calm under pressure and capable of making decisions
n
Takes pride in presentation, cleanliness and attention to detail
n
Is comfortable working closely with chefs and kitchen teams
n
Can train and motivate junior staff
n
Has a genuine interest in food, wine, cocktails and hospitality
n
Is reliable, professional and willing to get stuck in
n
Wants to grow with an independent restaurant rather than simply work a shift
n
