Oxford Early Learning Centre – Rooty Hill NSW

As Assistant Director, you will play an important role in supporting the overall leadership and operation of the centre. You will work closely with the Centre Director to support the day-to-day operations of the service while developing and mentoring our educators and helping to maintain a high standard of education, care and compliance.

Key responsibilities

Supporting the Centre Director with the daily operations of the service
n
Providing strong leadership, guidance and support to educators
n
Mentoring and developing team members to reach their potential
n
Supporting the delivery of high-quality educational programs
n
Promoting a positive, respectful and inclusive team culture
n
Building strong relationships with families and the wider community
n
Supporting staff performance, professional development and wellbeing
n
Assisting with staff organisation, rosters and day-to-day operational requirements
n
Supporting compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and the National Quality Standards
n
Maintaining a strong focus on children's safety, wellbeing,
learning and development
n
About you
n
Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
n
Current NSW Working With Children Check
n
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification
n
Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework and National Regulations
n
Demonstrated experience working within an early childhood education and care setting
n
Robust understanding of children's learning, development, wellbeing and safety
n
Passionate about early childhood education and care
n
An experienced and confident early childhood professional
n
A natural leader who enjoys mentoring and supporting others
n
Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities
