About the Role
n
As a Wholesale Nursery Hand, you will be involved in the day-to-day operations of the nursery, including:
n

Plant maintenance, watering, pruning and general nursery duties
n
Potting, planting and moving plants
n
Preparing orders for wholesale customers
n
Loading and unloading deliveries
n
Maintaining a clean, organised and protected nursery
n




Assisting with stock management and plant presentation
n
General manual handling and physical work
n
Working as part of a team to meet daily production and customer requirements
n
n
About You
n
We are looking for someone who is:
n
n
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
n
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
n
Able to work independently as well as part of a team
n
Willing to learn and take direction
n
Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
n
Takes pride in their work and pays attention to detail
n
Comfortable with repetitive physical tasks and manual handling
n
Previous nursery, horticulture, landscaping or agricultural experience is preferred but not essential
n
n
A current driver's licence and forklift licence would be an advantage.
