Position Available: Trade Assistant
n
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Trade Assistant to support our team of skilled technicians. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our service and installation processes.
n
What We Require:
n
n
Assist technicians with the repair, and maintenance of industrial roller doors, shutters, automatic doors, and gate operating equipment.
n
Prepare and organise tools, equipment, and materials required for jobs.
n
Perform basic maintenance tasks and operate various hand and power tools.
n
Keep work areas clean and organized, including the workshop and service vehicles.
n
Assist with loading and unloading equipment and materials.
n
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
n
Complete paperwork and documentation as required.
n
Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients on job sites.
n

What you need:

White Card (Construction)
n
Full unrestricted Australian working rights
n
Ability to pass criminal checks for correctional centres
n
Valid QLD driver's licence
(HR/forklift/scissor
-lift an advantage)
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
Understand & comply with Workplace Health & Safety Policies
n
Able to work under pressure and adapt to change
n
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team
n
Robust relationship building ability
n
Ability to work overtime regularly
n
n
Must be available for after-hours "on-call" service including weekends (on rotation every 7-8 weeks)
