Greenstart looks after some of Brisbane's best private gardens, from heritage homes to architectural showpieces, riverfronts to rooftop gardens. Properties most people only ever see from the street, kept to a standard you'd be proud to put your name to.
In this role you'll lead a small crew looking after your own run of high-end residential gardens across Brisbane's inner suburbs. You'll set the standard on site, train and support the people around you, deal with clients directly, and be trusted with these gardens like they're your own.
This is a hands-on position. It suits an experienced gardener ready to step into leadership, or someone already operating in one.
The role
Leading a small crew
Mowing, hedging, pruning, weeding and general garden care
Identifying pest and disease issues, and applying treatments
Planting and soft landscaping works




Keeping jobs on time and on budget
Holding work to the Greenstart standard
Liaising with clients on site
Training and mentoring team members
About you
Minimum 4+ years' experience in garden maintenance or landscaping
Strong plant knowledge and horticultural fundamentals
Proven ability to lead or supervise staff, or readiness to step into that role
High attention to detail and pride in delivering premium work
Physically fit, reliable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver's licence
Certificate III in Horticulture (or studying) highly regarded
Soft landscaping or small project experience an advantage

Above-award pay based on experience and leadership capability - $80,000-$90,000
