About the role
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Assisting qualified electricians with the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment
n
Learning to read and interpret electrical plans, diagrams and technical information
n
Developing practical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
n
Participating in on-the-job training and attending technical college as required
n
Using tools, equipment and materials safely and correctly
n
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment
n




Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times
n
n
About you
n
We are looking for someone who has:
n
n
A genuine interest in the electrical trade and a strong willingness to learn
n
Min 4 year full-time work history
n
A current open driver licence
n
A reliable and positive attitude
n
Good problem-solving and practical skills
n
The ability to work well within a team and follow instructions
n
Good communication and customer service skills
n
Strong attention to detail
n
A strong commitment to workplace safety
n
The ability to undertake physically demanding work
n
n
Previous trade, construction or electrical experience would be beneficial but is not essential. Mature age Apprenices encouraged to apply.
