Let's Talk About Responsibilities
Prepare and install mould tooling for production runs
Perform machine setup, startup, shutdown, breakdown and preventative maintenance on moulding machines
Monitor and optimize process parameters for efficiency and quality
Ensure all equipment is calibrated, maintained, and performing to standards
Liaise with Supervisors and the Production Manager regarding faults or improvements
Train and support Associate Technicians and Apprentices
Maintain accurate records of setups, calibrations, and equipment checks
Comply with all standard maintenance and operating procedures, GMP, 5s and Health & Safety policies.
Promote a safe working environment by following Health and Safety guidelines as well as implementing & closing out actions for the continual improvement of work place safety.
Provide support to other departments to ensure that current projects/equipment are delivered, installed and maintained on time and to the highest standard.
Lead Continuous Improvement activities to change or adapt existing maintenance methods and/or schedules so as to be more efficient
Continue to maintain own professional development in field of expertise.
Perform other tasks as required.
Let's Talk About Qualifications And Experience
Strong hands-on skills in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic,



and Pneumatic devices and systems and ability to read and interpret electromechanical drawings.
Expert in performing preventative maintenance activities on equipment.
Strong Communication and leadership skills.
Ability to lead and develop team members at different levels.
Good understanding of computer systems (MS Office, Oracle).
Ability to work in a fast moving and demanding team environment.
Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously.
Proactively self-manage and complete work to the highest standards and in a timely manner.
Required:
Degree or relevant trade certificate (e.g. Polymer, Electrical, Mechanical)
Preferred:
5 years' experience on moulding equipment maintenance
Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing facility within the medical or food industry
