We're looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and growing gynaecology and ultrasound practice in Lambton.
n
We're looking for someone who will fit in with our busy team and share our commitment to providing warm, professional and compassionate care to every patient who walks through our doors.
n
This is a part‐time position of ***** hours per week, Monday to Thursday, with shifts rostered between 8:00am and 6:00pm. There is no weekend work. Additional hours may occasionally be available to cover leave, with the opportunity for the role to grow into a full‐time position as our practice continues to grow.
n
What you'll be doing
n
You'll be one of the friendly faces our patients see when they arrive, helping to make their experience as smooth and comfortable as possible.
n
We're a busy practice, so the phone can be lively! You'll need to be comfortable managing a high volume of calls and patient enquiries while keeping things calm and organised.
n
Your day‐to‐day responsibilities will include:
n

Welcoming patients warmly and professionally
n
Scheduling appointments, managing bookings, patient records and enquiries
n
Handling confidential patient information with care and discretion
n
Coordinating with doctors, sonographers,



nurses and other staff to keep the day running smoothly
n
Processing payments and other administrative tasks
n
Maintaining a welcoming, organised and professional reception area
n
n
What we're looking for
n
We'd love to hear from you if you have:

Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
A warm, friendly and skilled manner
n
Strong organisation, attention to detail and multi‐tasking skills
n
Experience with medical practice software (Gentu preferred)
n
Confidence using general office technology
n
An empathetic and professional approach to supporting women throughout their healthcare journey.
n
Most importantly, a great team player who is happy to pitch in and help others
