About the role
n
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Service Technician is a licensed tradesperson responsible for completing a range of renewable energy and general electrical work to a high standard. You'll operate with competence, professionalism, and a strong commitment to safety and quality on every job, while also playing a key role in sourcing and quoting new work and growing our Service Team.

An experienced 4th-year apprentice with strong technical ability will also be considered.
n
Key responsibilities
n
Complete a broad range of renewable energy and general electrical installations to a high standard and in accordance with AS/NZS ****, CER, SAA and relevant Australian standards
n
Carry out all work as a licensed electrician, ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements at all times
n
Demonstrate sound electrical knowledge across renewable energy systems and general electrical installations
n
Provide timely project updates to the Operations Manager and/or Project Manager
n
Organise and prepare materials required for upcoming installations
n
Contribute to project process improvements and team efficiency
n
Follow all WHS obligations, site safety rules, and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)
n
Communicate professionally and effectively with clients and suppliers on site
n
Complete jobs to deadline while maintaining quality and safety standards
n
Source and quote for new work
n
About you
n
Current Electrical Worker Licence
n
Current driver's licence
n
Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
n
Customer service focus and commitment to representing Trill Group professionally on every site
n
Solid knowledge of renewable energy and general electrical systems and Australian wiring standards
n
Ability to coordinate tasks, set priorities, and meet strict deadlines
n
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision as well as providing support within a team environment
n
Ability to identify issues that arise and ensure they are dealt with in a professional and timely manner
n
Robust commitment to workplace health and safety and compliance with all relevant standards
n
Ability to sell, manage and carry out Service work projects
n
License & Tickets
n
Construction White card, or willingness to obtain
n
Australian Driver's License
n
Height Safety ticket, or willingness to obtain
n
First Aid Certificate and LV Rescue, or willingness to obtain
