As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), you will provide secure, respectful and person-centred care to residents, supporting them to live with dignity, independence and choice.Working closely with Registered and Enrolled Nurses, you will deliver day-to-day care and support, helping residents with their individual needs while building strong, meaningful relationships.

Permanent Part-Time Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
to join our team.This role involves working
night shifts on Tuesday, Wednesday,



Thursday and Saturday from 10:30pm to 6:30am
.
Role r esponsibilities
Support residents' dignity, privacy, rights, choice, independence, and cultural safety always.
Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and other team members to support the delivery of high quality care.
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including mobility, transfers, nutrition, hydration, continence care, medication support (training provided) and comfort.
Provide medication support (training provided)
Observe, recognise, and promptly report changes in residents' condition, behaviour, or wellbeing to the Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse.
Contribute to care planning through accurate observation, reporting, and communication with the care team.
Accurately document care provided, observations, and incidents in approved LDK systems in a timely and confidential manner.
Role model behaviours consistent with LDK values of Love, Decency and Kindness in all interactions with residents, families, and colleagues.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Current First Aid and CPR
Training equivalent to HLTHPS006 (Assist clients with medication) highly desirable
Previous experience in residential aged care, community care, home care, disability, or supporting vulnerable people (desirable)
Well-developed oral communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build effective relationships with residents, families and other team members
Previous experience in providing medication support (highly desirable)
Current Driver's License (desirable)
