Driveline Services Australia is looking for an experienced Fitter Turner / Machinist to join our growing Acacia Ridge team.

What you'll be doing
n
As a Fitter Turner / Machinist, you'll be an important part of our workshop team, working on a wide range of drivetrain and driveshaft components used across industries including mining, transport, agriculture and heavy equipment.
n
Your day-to-day work will include:
n
n
Disassembly, inspection and rebuild of drivetrain components
n
Driveshaft repair, assembly, manufacturing and balancing
n
Working on light vehicles and heavy machinery components
n
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and job specifications
n
Working with the team to keep jobs moving efficiently
n
Maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship
n
n
What you'll bring
n
We're looking for someone who is reliable, skilled and takes pride in their work.

Ideal candidates will have:
n
n
Experience in fitting, machining or mechanical work
n




Experience operating lathes, machining equipment, or MIG welding (highly regarded)
n
Trade qualification in Fitting & Turning, Machining, Mechanical Fitter or similar
n
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
n
Ability to work both independently and within a team
n
A strong commitment to safety
