About The Role
n
We are currently looking for a front-end Lawyer/Associate (2-4+ years PQE) to join our highly regarded, dynamic and growing Melbourne team.
n
In This Role You Would
n
n
Work for a wide range of clients, encompassing a strong Government practice, major local and international contractors and principals;
n
Draft, review, negotiate and provide advice on a range of project documentation, including construction contracts, consultancy agreements, side deeds and project deeds;
n
Contribute to the team's business development activities; and
n
Mentor the more junior team members and work alongside Partners Simone Holding, Billy Gialamas, Andrew Pitney and Sefton Warner.

About You
n
In order to be considered, to be successful and thrive in this role, you will:
n
n
Currently be working as a
transactional/front
-end lawyer in a construction or projects team either in private practice or in-house;
n
Have a sound technical legal ability and drafting skills;
n
Have a genuine interest in working in the construction and infrastructure sector;
n
Exhibit a client-focused approach with a deep understanding of commercial drivers in the industry; and
n
Be an independent thinker, comfortable learning new concepts quickly and contributing your ideas to discussions.
