We are seeking a passionate and experienced 2IC / Educational Leader to join a well-established 85-place early learning service that prides itself on its strong team culture, collaborative approach, and commitment to high-quality early childhood education.

Working closely with the Centre Director, you'll play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations while leading curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives across the service.

About the Role
n
As the 2IC / Educational Leader, you will support the Centre Director in the day-to-day running of the service while driving curriculum excellence and professional growth across the team.
n
You will be an active and visible leader who enjoys working alongside educators and stepping into rooms when required to support the team.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n




Supporting the Centre Director with daily operations and centre management
n
Leading curriculum planning, programming and reflective practice across the service
n
Coaching and mentoring educators to strengthen practice and outcomes
n
Driving continuous improvement and quality initiatives
n
Supporting compliance with the National Quality Framework and National Regulations
n
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry changes and mandatory reporting requirements
n
Building positive relationships with children, families and the wider community
n
Assisting with rostering, staffing and operational support as required
n
Supporting a positive, collaborative and accountable team culture
n
Using Kidsoft to support administration and centre operations
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
Experienced Assistant Director, 2IC, Educational Leader or senior leader within Early Childhood
n
Strong knowledge of the EYLF, National Quality Standards and approved learning frameworks
n
Passion for mentoring and developing educators
n
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
n
Collaborative leadership style with a hands-on approach
n
Robust organisational and problem-solving abilitiesConfidence supporting both operational and educational aspects of the service
n
Kidsoft experience highly regarded
n
n
Essential Requirements
n
n
Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher
n
Previous leadership experience within an early childhood setting
n
Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and compliance requirements
n
Current Working with Children Check and relevant certifications
n
