Convenience Store Attendant / Retail Assistant

We are looking for reliable and friendly Convenience Store Attendants / Retail Assistants to join our team at Lucky 7 Convenience Store. The store operates from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with two main shifts available: Morning shift: 6:00 AM – 1:00 PM and Afternoon/evening shift: 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Opening the store in the morning or completing closing duties in the evening
n
Serving customers and providing friendly, qualified customer service
n
Operating the POS/till and handling cash and card payments
n
Receiving deliveries and placing stock on shelves and in fridges
n
Checking stock levels and identifying products that need to be reordered
n
Assisting with stock ordering after training
n
Checking expiry dates and rotating stock
n
Keeping shelves, counters,



fridges and general store areas clean and tidy
n
Following store procedures for cash handling, stock and security
n
Reporting any stock shortages, damaged products or store issues to management
n

About you
n
n
Reliable, punctual, honest and well-presented
n
Comfortable dealing with customers
n
Able to work independently during some shifts once fully trained
n
Able to take responsibility for their shift and help keep the store organised and running smoothly
n
Previous retail or convenience store experience is helpful but not essential
n
Availability for morning, afternoon/evening and weekend shifts will be highly regarded
n
