Journey Early Learning Lucknow is a brand-new 88-place, five-room centre opening in November ****.
n
As an Early Childhood Teacher within the founding team, you'll help establish a kindergarten program that reflects the children, families and community around you.
n
You'll have the opportunity to create a learning environment where children's voice, agency, curiosity and ideas genuinely influence the curriculum.
n

Teach with a team around you.
n
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you'll:
n
n
Design and deliver meaningful kindergarten learning experiences
n
Observe, assess and extend children's learning
n
Develop a responsive program informed by children's strengths, interests and ideas
n
Create opportunities that support children's voice, autonomy and agency
n
Build strong and respectful partnerships with families
n
Support children's transition to school
n
Work collaboratively with educators across the centre
n
Contribute professional knowledge to reflection and continuous improvement
n
Partner closely with your Educational Leader and Centre Manager
n
Create a safe, inclusive and engaging environment for every child
n
n
Supported to grow your teaching practice.
n
At Journey, you won't be expected to develop your teaching practice in isolation.
n
Your Educational Leader will work alongside you, supported by your Centre Manager, Centre Quality Manager and Journey's broader skilled ecosystem.
n
You'll also have access to Journey's ECT mentoring approach, including coaching, professional feedback and support for provisionally registered teachers progressing through the VIT inquiry process.
n
Through Journey Academy and our broader learning and development opportunities, you'll have continued opportunities to grow your practice and career.

What you'll bring
n
You will ideally hold:
n
n
An ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification
n
Current VIT registration, or eligibility to obtain registration
n
Strong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standard
n
An understanding of contemporary early childhood pedagogy
n
Confidence designing, implementing and evaluating kindergarten programs
n
Strong communication and family-partnership skills
n
A collaborative approach to working with educators and leaders
n
A commitment to inclusive practice and children's agency
n
A genuine commitment to child safety and safeguarding
n
n
