Job Description
Izzat Consulting Engineers is seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join our Hamilton team on a part-time basis (15 hours per week).

What you'll be doing
n
The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Finance Manager with day-to-day financial transactions, fortnightly payroll, and reporting to ensure accurate, timely record keeping. Including;
n
n
Generating, and processing of invoices and reports
n
Management of financial records, accounts payable and receivable
n
Monitor and actively follow up outstanding accounts payable (debtors)
n
Assist in processing fortnightly payroll
n
Bank reconciliations
n
Assist in the preparation of quarterly and yearly financial results
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
Demonstrated experience in a similar role, including Payroll, Accounts Payable and Receivable
n
Advanced bookkeeping skills and experience in the use of financial ERP systems, Xero is essential
n
High level of accuracy and robust attention to detail
n




Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to deal professionally with people at all levels
n
Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
n
Current Class C Motor Vehicle Drivers Licence
n
Prior experience in an engineering firm would be advantageous
n
