Job Description
The RTO Administrator is responsible for providing high-quality administrative and front-desk support within the RTO. This role supports the efficient day-to-day operations by managing student files and data entry, handling general enquiries, and providing exceptional customer service to students, staff, and visitors. The position ensures a welcoming and professional workplace while assisting with communication, record management, and compliance reporting in line with RTO requirements.

Key responsibilities

Perform general clerical duties including filing, scheduling, and correspondence
n
Maintain a welcoming reception area, ensuring a professional and organised environment
n
Maintain accurate student and training records
n
Assist with AVETMISS data entry and compliance reporting
n
Provide administrative support to trainers, assessors, and the management team
n
Handle incoming calls, emails, and front desk duties
n
Assist students with enrolment queries, appointments, and basic course information
n
Assist with document filing, scanning,



and record-keeping
n
Assist with student enrolments, record keeping, and processing course documentation
n
Ensure accurate and timely communication with students regarding their courses
n

About you
n
n
Certificate III or IV in Business Administration or equivalent experience
n
Experience in office administration, data entry, and student support services
n
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, student management systems (SMS), and data entry procedures
n
Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
n
Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in record-keeping
n
Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, and work independently
n
Experience working in an RTO or education sector (desirable)
n
Understanding of AVETMISS reporting and ASQA compliance (desirable)
n
Experience handling student enrolments and client service management (desirable)
